Rhoda Ladjer Akuaku

Rhoda Ladjer Akuaku is currently an education policy and sustainability consultant and an alumnus of the Aspire Institute, a programme founded at Harvard University. Rhoda recently co-founded a registered social impact non-profit, Southern Handprint (https://southernhandprint.org/) which aims to address unsustainable practices along value chains that negatively affect children, adolescents and youth across the Global South.
She is an education policy enthusiast and the program manager at the Dataking Research Lab of Dataking Consulting. Her interest is in the impact of education on critical international development issues like climate change, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), sustainable development and youth development among others. Rhoda has worked with educational institutions as an educator and also provides editorial support for businesses. Rhoda has been involved in a number of non-profit start-ups in Africa.
She is the founding Secretary of the AuthorAID Ghana Hub and the Business and Economic Policy House (https://bephglobal.org/). She has been a volunteer screener with the American Red Cross for its USA national headquarters and has taught at the University of Chicago Lab Schools.
Rhoda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Ghana. She also holds a certificate in leadership from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Rhoda is currently a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Policy at Northwestern University in the USA.
